The Board of Trustees
ministry has as its primary objective to serve the Lord as it fulfills
the mission and vision of Oak Shade Baptist Church. The specific areas
of the vision that this ministry is actively directing its efforts are:
- To serve as legal representatives of the church.
- To hold in trust the property of the church.
- To protect, manage, buy, sell, mortgage, lease or transfer church
property at the direction of the church.
- To administer and maintain the cemetery of the church.
Activities currently being conducted
by the Trustees are:
- Understanding the programs of the church and ensure the logistics
associated with the program are taken care of.
- Receive all funds of the church, make record of the same and
deposit.
- Maintaining the facilities, the properties and the equipment of
the church.
- Gathering facts before spending funds.
- Signing vouchers prior to expenditure of funds.
- Designating grave sites for those being buried in the church
cemetery.
